Why don´t you try storytelling? It´s great!!!!
Hi again!!
I´ve asked my students to write new versions of traditional tales. Afterwards, they have taken some time to prepare themselves to tell their new stories to us. it´s been a wonderful storytelling class!! Here is one of them.

Christmas is coming, so get ready!
Hello again!
I´ve been a bit busy but I want to wish you a merry christmas and the best way I know is through christmas songs. Here they go with their lyrics, just in case you may use them in class too. See you soon! Mery Christmas!

Let´s change the subject
wow!! we are still celebrating Halloween.Thank you for all the contributions, but I should say that now Halloween is old history.
As a blog is something vivid and changing, I suggest we should celebrate other festivals, for instance British Bonfire Night and American Thanksgiving Day.
This is what I did with my secondary students. We talked about festivals in November comparing Guy fawkes Day and Thanksgiving Day and to illustrate the first one I showed them this video.
Then I pre-teach some new vocabulary for the next video and I played it for the class.
I hope you enjoy them!

This is Halloween
In my class, one of the activities we did to celebrate Halloween was listening to this song:
The students had the lyrics with some gaps they had to fill in.
After that, we all listened to this version with the lyrics
