Let´s change the subject

wow!! we are still celebrating Halloween.Thank you for all the contributions, but I should say that now Halloween is old history.
As a blog is something vivid and changing, I suggest we should celebrate other festivals, for instance British Bonfire Night and American Thanksgiving Day.

This is what I did with my secondary students.We talked about festivals in November comparing Guy fawkes Day and Thanksgiving Day and to illustrate the first one I showed them this video.



Then I pre-teach some new vocabulary for the next video and I played it for the class.

This is Halloween

In my class, one of the activities we did to celebrate Halloween was listening to this song:




The students had the lyrics with some gaps they had to fill in.
